RAF Waddington and all the Airingplanes

I Bet I'm the first Sheep to get a VIP Visit!

I'm so excited, Andy the Plumber knows a nice RAF man called "WO Paul".
He has arranged for all his pals from Prison to visit the RAF camp and have a go on the big planes.
We arrived nice and early at our meeting point, a big shop nearby.

Eventually Mouse and his son Calum arrived, it was good to meet them at last. Mouse was a lot bigger than I expected, Phil says he eats lots of pies.

After the long Journey from "Branston" Mel was too tired to get out of the car, I suppose he is getting on a bit.
Phil says he has to carry Mels tools at work!

I had a drink of Squash while waiting for WO Paul. "Suddenly I was Bustin!"
Marge had to take me to the loo pretty quickly I can tell you, Phil says it must be the "Lookozade".
I think I might have drunk too much water when Brushing my teeth!

At last my old Friend "Andy the Plumber" arrived. He said WO Paul would be here soon in his Volvo. Mel laughed when he actually turned up in a Big White van like Our Tux!

The first part of the visit Bab's had to stay in a room. Phil and Marge were worried that I might have been sucked in an engine.
That didn't sound good so I had a quick "Bab's in the Bag Nap"
Outside Marge had a good look round the "Sentry" Airingplane, she said it was massive and really exciting.

"Andy the Plumber" was excited too. He took loads of Phornographs for Bab's to see later.

Mouse left the lid on his Cambra and missed the Airingplane all together.

I was pleased when they came back in and I could get out of my bag.
Bab's was allowed to look round in the big Airingplane garage, I think these two chaps were very impressed to see a Sheep visiting their place of work.
One of them pretended to be a Tea Pot which made Bab's laugh.
Phil had some friends who worked there and said "awe!" when we had to leave.
Bye Bye Mr Sentry.

Phil said he used to work in this Garage but it is a lot different now.
It used to have lots of dirty old Airincraft wheels, but now it has some nice shiney 5 Squadron "Sentinals".
I think they look pretty cool and was looking forward to getting on board.

Calum and Mel were messing around taking pictures of each other.
Marge said just ignore them!

Bad news I'm afraid, Phil said that they could let me look on the Plane, But would have to "Shoot me Afterwards"
I was quite worried about this but Marge told me to ignore him.
She said they had probably just lost the keys!
I did notice a little open door on the Airingplane though! Mmm I wonder..........

Mel said he would give me a leg up, I said "I would prefer a lift"
Calum kept watch !

Dohhh, Mel was so small he could only reach up as high as this small machine, Wonder what it is?
It did not seem to have any buttons on it so I slid myself down and scampered off before Mel offered to lift me up any more!

It was all quiet at the back of the Airingplane and Mel could not find me. Phil was impressed how clean the floor was !
They must have better cleaners here than in Prison!

I did find this little RAF sign on the floor, I tried to pick it up but I think it was a trick one because it was stuck down!
Bab's was glad that the garage was quiet and nobody saw me falling for it!

Later on Phil whispered to me that he thought "Andy the Plumber" was auditioning for Riverdance and was showing Marge his quick step!
I was not really sure what Phil was talking about but I think he was telling the truth this time.

Ah! Here come the boys. Phil said they had been to the 'little boys' room!

I told Marge what Phil had said and she burst out laughing.
She said Mouse would not fit in a 'little boys' room, I suppose she might be right!

I wonder what this is, and why on earth should Bab's be banned from going in?
