From "Bin Nevis to Ullapool"
Via the Dangerous Ducks!
After the amazing bridge we followed this See all the way round to the other side. Phil said it was called "Loch Eriboll", seems a funny name for a See though. The road was very narrow and was sometimes very steep with long drops over the sides, Marge was quite nervous at times I think she put her "Book Glasses" on for some of these tracks so she could not see the drops.
We had to screech to a halt round one corner because the road was blocked with "Brothers and Sisters". Phil drove forward very slowly and look Here to see what happened!
It was very funny to see the Sheep Cat come running after the Flock afterwards when he realised they had all sneaked away!
Further round the coast Marge and Phil stopped for more "Ooohs and Ahhhs" and to take some pictures of the scenery, I took the time for a quick "Gorse snack".
I found this hole beside the road, Phil said it was probably a Rabbit hole but Marge thinks it was for a Gas main, I think it was a Grizzly bears house so I did not hang around too long.
I climbed up to this hill a bit so I could see better, whilst I was up there I heard this funny "Wack, Wack, Wack" noise coming from down the road, it sounded quite funny so I decided to investigate further.
Wow, I found where the noise was coming from. This layby was completely full of these Quackers, Phil said there was millions of them. Marge had a block of Bread in the car and decided to give it to them. they were quite hungry and stopped at nothing to get at the food look Here and you will see how mad they were!
Some of them were pecking at my Hooves, were they stupid did I look like a Bread Block?
I was getting a bit worried now, they were like a pack of "Hygenas". They were pulling at my coat and pecking my bits.
Ooohh, I was getting quite worried now, they were "Quackers"
Oh no, they were after my Hat, Marge, MARGE help!
GET OFF MY HAT YOU Piggys!
MARGE, PHIL, HELP!
Phew, I'm worn out. Thank goodness Marge got my hat.
Next time I see one of these Duck things I hope its with a nice "Orange Sauce".
After my ordeal I needed some time to recover. This was the ideal place to collect my thoughts. "Smoo Cave", what a lovely peaceful place.
When you approach the cave, you can see where lots of people have used white stones from the beach to put their names on the hill, It must have taken them quite a long time to put their messages in place. Phil said he would do it for me no problem. it was amazing I never even saw him go. Can you see his message?
The cave was impressive, Phil took a Black and White picture to capture the mood of the moment, I climbed the fence to get a better view.
I think its OK to go in because someone has put some lights up, Marge says she wishes the councils down south would sort out the lighting as good as this lot.
Crikey the lights do not look quite so bright when you get inside, hope Marge has not told anyone what she just said. There was lots of water puddles and tinkling noises.
This part of the cave really made me a bit scared I was sure I saw a Witch on a Broomstick fly by. Marge told me not to be daft, Phil just laughed and told me to "Duck" I think that was a joke though because I never heard any Quacking.
Much as I liked Smoo Cave it was nice to get out in the open again, The Magnificent views were round every corner, Phil says we will never get there if we keep stopping, Marge agreed and said this was to be the last stop before Ullingpool.
OK said Phil, this will be the last one then!
This one had a Telligscope too, it was a shame, Phil said he would have let me look through this one but he did not have any Shillings. Marge said she had spent her last one!
The next stop was amazing, it was so quiet, you could just stand there and hear nothing, the Water Lock was really smooth.
Well it was until Phil threw in a skimmer unfortunately It was another pathetic twoer Ha ha ha.
I looked for ages but did not see any Crabs, Marge said you won't get Crabs in there. Phil laughed but I did not think it was that funny.
It was a lovely place to climb. it was just so peaceful.
Phil said he could stay here forever but Marge said there was no fridges to cool his Beer so Phil changed his mind.
Marge scooped me off the mountain, and plonked me in the car I was too tired to resist!
We were nearly there but we still had stops to make. Marge says "How could we not stop with views like this around each corner"
This notice bord said that A million years ago some Ice filled the mountains and the Sheep who were left there had to learn to make igloo's so they could survive.
At last we arrived at Ullingpool, look over there you can see the Ferry boat, I wonder where it is going to ?
Marge said she thought it might go to Sky, I told her not to be silly because everyone knows boats don't reach the sky its only airingplanes that can do that.
Marge stopped to ask where our House was, but there was nobody about!
Eventually Phil asked the satterite navigation machine for help and it found out where we were going.
I was so glad to get there in the end, I was really tired after my epic journey.
I decided to stay in and have nice shortbread and a shower and bed while Marge and Phil went out to tea.
They took some pictures of where the boats live in Ullingpool because they thought it looked so nice.
I don't think these ships are very good because they are not even in the water.
Anyway goodnight everyone see you tomorrow, when we are off to see the monster at Loch Nees.
