"Bab's in a Pickle"
I am quite excited, tonight we are doing some Pickering.
"Mouse" at the Prison told Phil that if you put some cooked eggs in vinegar and leave them for ages, they taste quite nice!
Marge already knew this but she pretended to be excited when Phil told her his news!
We had to get the dogs in first because they might like to help us.
Look how well the boys come in Here I think Silly Marge has already been on the "Ruby Cabinet" because she called the dogs "Bart and Gizmo"!
I'm suprised they listened to her, if she shouted to me calling me "Drabs" I would just not listen!
Well, with the boys in we decided to start, Phil had already baked the eggs in water so all we needed to do was take the Brown skin off.
It was quite hard to do, the skin kept breaking the White bits off too. Marge says they must be "Young Chickens".
Phil says he will have words with Mouse when he goes back to prison!
I must say to "Mr Mouse", they are quite delicious even if they are young Chickens, I hope Marge did not spot me having a nibble!
When we finally skinned all our eggs I decided to have a go at my lottery Itch card and guess what?
I won 2 pounds in moneys, I will ask Phil to get me a pint of "Sheep Dip" from the Coop he says its good because it helps you relax!
Marge had another sip of her "Cabinet".
Anyway back to work, Phil warned me to be careful with these Red things, they are called Chillys and are very hot!
Silly man, If they were that hot would I be able to hold it in my Hoof? No I wouldn't.
The Chilly did smell very nice so I chanced a small lick, Phil shouted "Noooooo" but it was too late......
Blooming Heck, I know what Phil meant now, these Chillys have the wrong name, they should be called Hottys!
I emptied a bottle of Icy Cold water to try and cool the fire in my mouth, Phil said "I told you so !"
Marge had another sip of her "Cabinet" but I'm sure she had a smirk on her face!
In future I took no chances and used these "Tungs" to put the Eggs into the Chilly vinigar.
It was quite hard to pick the egg out of the bowl but once it was clamped up it was going nowhere except the Chilly Jar!
Mart got off the sofa to give me some advice, he says he has been in a pickle or two himself, I found that quite hard to believe!
Anyway it turns out all Mart was after was a piece of wafer thin "Am".
Phil says ignore him, he is just a Beggar.
Marge kept saying Ahhh, Ahhh, Ahhh.
Phil rolled his eyes!
In the end the hardest thing in the world was doing up the lid, Phil said it needed to be tight to keep the flys out.
Marge said if you don't tighten it up properly it might leak out and damage the "Hozeone Layer", No idea what she means so I made sure I did it up tightest!
When we had secured all our pickled eggs Stumpy Decided to have a hunt for food. I gave him some wafer thin "Am" because Mart had already had some!
I'm looking forward to the time in the future that I can try my Pickling. I will let you know if they work out
