Goodbye Nessie, Hello Inverness

And away from the "blurry for ingers"

zzzz

Now this is much better than the other "Touristy" side of Lock Ness, Phil says he is so glad the busses won't fit up here because all the crowds would ruin it

Not a Bus or Hire car in sight!

While Marge and Phil were enjoying the views and listening to an American Barbie, I decided to climb over this fence with a step thing, it was quite hard but after a struggle I managed to get to the first step.

The next hard bit was getting through the wire, I could hardly fit my heed through. I don't know how humans manage this!

It was not much easier getting my legs through, I do hope nobody can see my knickers!

Hooray I managed it all on my own. Marge was worried that I had crossed the fence but Phil said it was OK and lifted me back over.

The views were quite good though but It was better climbing than looking.

Marge needed another wee so Phil stopped at this quiet bit, actually the whole place was quiet but this had trees to climb as well!
I got stuck in this "V" in the tree and my hat toppled down. I hoped Phil would be able to help again.

Oooo, I did not realise I was so high up the tree, Phil had to make a ladder out of sticks so he could reach me and help me down!

In the field over the road Marge spotted some "Highland Coos" They looked fierce but were in fact very friendly and let me have a ride.
Marge did not fancy coming too close and Phil stayed in the car!

The view of "Lock Ness Castle" was a lot quieter from this side and there was no "blurry for ingers" he he he.

Well finally after our long journey we arrived at our house for the night. This place was called the "Avalon Guest House" in Inverness.
We met the humans called Jo and Bradley, they were very nice people but we never met the owner who was a cat called Branston.
Jo said Branston barked a bit but we never heard him!

Everything in the house was great, Phil said he wanted to stay here forever and pointed out that there was a fridge to cool his beer.
Marge just explored everywhere making funny Oooing noises. I think you can guess we were all happy here!
We even had access to the tinternet, I don't know what that means but Phil said it was good.

All refreshed after our "Power Shower" we ventured into the town of Inverness. It looked quite nice. Phil says he was here 30 years ago, thats before I was born.

I saw this shop and remembered the kid at home with lots of names has a great time racing his car with this company.
I thought I might join up and then I would get to fly planes and drive tanks and have some great adventures.

Awww, what a shame.
Never mind I will still go in the racing cars one day soon!

Further along the road I saw this shop selling Sheep furs, I was worried!
I asked Marge what happened to the poor sheep who lost their furs. Marge said she would ask at the shop

The ladies in the shop were all quite nice and assured us that the Sheep furs were all not real and were "Made By Man" or something like that.
They were all interested in my travels and I would have liked to stop for a chat but it was quite noisey in the street. Phil said "blurry for ingers"!

We had our tea in "Johnny Foxes" pub and it was very nice, it was a karoki bar but that was not happening this night Marge said "Thank goodness".
Phil had plenty of his Belhavens, Marge had wine and I stayed on the bus with a tomato juice.

The food was lovely and I ate it all up!

Phil had only got me a lamb size meal and it did not fill me up like a grown up meal so I finished off with the display flowers Mmmmm!

After a good meal their is nothing like a good sleep for a Sheep Zzzz,

Look at this, I met this proper Scotrish man called Jocky on the way out.
He told me to be careful because someone out there had drawn a moustache and Goatie on him with a pen when he was asleep.
Phil said he would look after me. Bye Bye Jocky!

Well, well what a nice place Inverness was!
Goodnight xxx
