"The Bahkett 6-Hour Handicap Relay"
At Sliverstone,"The Home of British Motoringsport "
This is the fastest car of them all, it's on "My Friend Billys" team. It's called a Radial and its owned by a man called PMT, he must be very rich!
It whizzed in and out of the traffic, PMT even had time to flash his headlights when he saw Phil in the crowd!
This must be the oldest car in the RAF teams, Phil says it wasn't as old as "My Friend Billy" though.
It did go like a bomb and even the "Pointy Proper Racing Cars" struggled to overtake it.
"Steve Plate" made it into a racing car all by himself, he must be very clever!
This yellow car from another team had a wonky nose that looked like it might fall off and land on someones head.
Phil said "They should throw the Black flag at it". I thought that sounded a bit harsh!
At last we got to see "Brain" in his racing car. It was very fast and did not look like a Lawn Mower at all!
Look how fast my "New Friend Brain" goes Here
Ah ! Here comes "My Old Friend Billy" in the Fletcher Hairnet, he was as fast as can be. I was sure he gave me a wave when he went past.
Poor man, He must miss Maaary!
It was soon to be the end of the race so I tried to climb down from the top of the van, It was very slippery, I hoped Marge would help me as it was quite high up!
Ouch, Ouch!
Silly Marge just sat there taking Phornographs, and that blooming Monkey had a smirk on his face too.
After the checking flag had been shown to the racers, we all stood round worrying about who was the fastest.
I tried to tell them that it was not the winning, but the taking apart, that mattered but Billy held his hand over my mouth, I guess it was a tents time!
I invited both my teams to have their phornographs taken with me on the pits wall.
I was glad that I had Brains smiling lady Jo between me and the short person at the end called "Silo" Phil says he eats sheep for supper!
This "Martian from Bharkston" Showed off both our "Help for Heros" wrist bands.
He was quite concerned about my excitement level and kept a close check on my "Carrot Artillery" to see that my pulse was still beating.
I told him not to worry as I would just take some deep breaths!
Would you believe it, We Won!!!
It was a very emotional time for everyone when we found out that "My Friend Billys" team had won the prize for being first in the class. and on top of that "Brains" "Help for Heros" team won the whole thing they were the greatest drivers of 2008. I was quite overcome when Razzle took me on stage to collect our prizes.
I was worried about "My friend Billy" because he was seen crying in the back of the room. I wonder if I could contact "Maaary" to tell her how much he misses her?
When "Brain" was collecting his prize "Simon Swing" was so excited he decided to do a quick "Two Step" to celebrate!
Phil says the man with the Blue coat in the background is the most generous man in the world because his team Ecurie gave loads and loads of Moneys to the "Help for Heros" fund
The nice lady giving out the rewards was very pleased to see me as she had never given any prizes to a Sheep before.
Razzle was very supportive but did stay on the stage a bit long, in the end "Brain" had to tug his coat to get us off the stage to give "Simon" his go!
I could not hold in the emotions any longer I wept and wept with happyness.
Razzle enjoyed the limelight (A bit too much and had to be moved on)
Simon was very pleased with his Garland, but would not let me have a quick nibble.
In this phornograph what you can't see is "Brain" pulling "Razzle" off the stage by his ear, He did enjoy the attention that "Razzle" "Bless him"!
Once "Razzle" was forcably moved out of the way, the others "Steve", "Jenson" and "John" got their rewards.
I do hope that "Jenson" shares his prize with his Grandmother after all, its her car and without that he would have had to run round the track on foot
The team would have surely lost if that happened!
Hooray for "Jensons" Granny!!!
"Brain" let go of "Razzles" ear so that Phil could get a phornograph of the whole team. And the nice lady with the plate.
I think "Brain" is having a quick snigger to himself at having beaten "My friend Billys" team without him finding out about "Brains" team of Snippers.
It was nice to get some fresh air after all this emotion, Phil said it would be nice to have had a Beer but Marge said he was driving us home, Poor Phil.
Anyway I would like to say what a pleasure it was working with both the teams, myself Marge and Phil really enjoyed the day.
Next year I will do it Free of charge, Now where is "My friend Billy"? I need to collect me Fee!
