Bharkston Heath Final 2008

"Fire and Chunder"

Hmmm, I wonder whats going on here. The little Red car slowed down and parked by the tyres.
Next thing the little "Man in Blue" shouted on the radio telling "Hal in Control" that they needed the "Paramedical" down there straight away.
We all thought someone had been injured, even the driver of the Red car looks surprised at all the attention.
Phil says little folk often like to be the centre of attraction. Marge said "Bab's is little"!

The racing man in the Red car was told not to park there again and sent back to the Padlock.
The "Paramedical" man told Mr Blue Shirt not to be so "Haysty" in future and drove back to his proper place, rolling his eyes as he went.

I think I have just spotted the real "Beast of Barkston", he he he.

Soon it was back to the racing, I hope Terry does not go too slow round this bit otherwise there may be another "Paramedical" incident!
Actually I think "Hal" in control took Mr Blue shirts radio away, ha ha ha Bab's still has hers.

I think "Malcumb" in the Fire Engine was having problems with his engine, I was going to offer my Assistance but "Hal" in control said he would sort it out.
Listen Here to see what "Hals" solution to the problem was!
Phil says that crossing your fingers would never work and really "Malcumb" needed some Jump Leads

It was a lovely day, but its very hard work being a Martian, you need to be on your Hooves all the time in case anything happens.
I had to ask Marge to stop knitting because I was hungry and wanted some crisps

These new Crisps from Walters "Gorcester Sauce" are blooming loverly, Phil did not want any because he said he was full of Lasagnee so I offered some to Marge......

Drat and double drat, Marge doesn't half take big handfulls!. I hope there is another packet in the Boots.

Luckily there was one more packet, but I did not offer these ones to Marge.
"Once Bitten Twice Sly" is what Phil said and I think he's right.
With my tummy full I decided a short nap would be good. I left Phil in charge of the flags and showed Marge how to talk into the radio
(Phil said perhaps I should not have done that though because we all know how Marge "Talks", I think he may have been joking but he does have a point)
It was nice and warm and I was soon out counting the Zeds!

When the cars had stopped racing "Hal" in control asked us all to clean up our area. I don't know what on earth I am going to do with this bit.
Phil says there is a long line of Drivers who had hit into this poor pole, Damon Beeris, Nigel Longboarder and even Brain had crashed here.
Brain was not driving when he crashed though.

Back in the Padlock "My Friend Billy" let me sit in my Favourite car, the "Mutton Deadloss".
When I sat on the seat I could reach the paddles but could not see out of the windows.

But when I could see out of the windows I could not reach the Paddles. I think I will have to make my own Bab's sized racing car.

When I do I want it to look like this one, and especially painted in my favourite colour "Orange".

Just as we were leaving "Brain" pointed out that "Simon Swing" had a proper grown up racing seat and straps for sale.
Phil liked the colour of them and took them off Simons hands, I wonder if I will be able to reach the pedals in Phil and "Old man Roys" racing car.
I would like to thank all "My Friends" at Bahkston for making Me, Phil and Marge so welcum. I look forward to next year when I may even get a go at Racing myself!
