Bharkston Heath Final 2008

"Fire and Chunder"

Young Aidan was driving really well in his new "Grown up Metro", He never broke down once and did not even touch the grass.
He could teach his "Farmer" Dad "John" and "Brains" a few things about driving Metros! he he!

I thought "Hal" the controller had gone mad, he was standing there pretending to be a pole!
That is a bit silly because Simon Swing has just gone past and everyone knows he hates Poles!

On the other side of the fence I saw these creatures, Marge screamed and locked herself in the car.
Phil laughed and said they were probably the legendary "Beasts of Bharkston".
Oh, is that all?

I decided to keep my mind occupied and watch the cars for a while!

Marge says that "Phil" and "Old man Roy" have got one of these "Peegoats 205GTis" to race next year.
Phil said be careful because this one driven by Andy has got rubbish brakes!

This is Dave in his "Worstfield" he is very fast in the dry but cannot go too fast in the wet because he does not have any tread on his tyres.
Phil says it sounds lovely!

At last it was time for lunch and the prize giving, I did wonder if "My Friend Billy" had wrangled it for me to get a prize. Lets wait and see.
Young Aiden, looked after me which was quite nice because Phil was busy setting up a "presentashon" and Marge was busy Talking!

The films were quite good and everyone watched. It was nice to see me on the screen as well!

During the presentashon, "My Friend Billy" looked worried, I wonder what was on his mind?

Bloomin heck, No wonder Jo looks shocked. Marge and "My Friend Billy" having a snog on stage!
I think Marge was happy with her "Orange" Martian suit that Billy had just given her!
Phil says they could have just shaked hands instead!

After Lunch the racing started again and first out was my bestest car the "Mutton Deadloss" driven by "My Friend Billy".
It is very fast and probably the best coloured car in the world!

I decided that now my lunch had settled I was ready for a lift in a racing car, Brain had seats in the back so I decided he could be the chosen one.
He was so busy trying to stay off the grass that he forgot about me. I had the last laugh though because I used my Black flag on him and he had to stop and pick me up!

Babs Black Flagging!

I got strapped into the back seat of the Metro and held my breath. Luckily Brain did not stall on the line this time.
Wow, what a ride. Brain is a really quick driver and I don't know why people call him "Lawnmower Man".
Marge thinks that might be a Peelot in the RAF "Flying grass cutters", Phil laughed and said Brain might be a bit short to be a Peelot because he could not reach the pedals.

Bloomin heck, whats that?
This little creature was peeking at me from behind the tyres!

He was only a little creature so I was not scared, I tried to see where he had gone!

Not here either!

Oh dear I think I have lost him!

Oh look, there he is running across the track, I bet he has not asked "Hal" the controller, on the radio for permisshun.

Thank goodness for that, the "Little Creature" managed to get home before all the noisy cars came round again.
This car is owned by a man in the Navy, I wonder where he parks it on his boat (Sorry I mean Shlip)

I felt the wind when Jenson went zooming by, perhaps I should move back?

At the next break I decided to hunt out all the creatures who were living in the tyres.

Blooming things must be camelflaged, I can't see any of them!
